We are a modern college committed to contributing to the economic development of Somerset and the south-west region. Our graduates may progress to top-up Honours Degrees with our partner universities, the University of Plymouth and the Open University, which validates our Foundation Degrees, or enter the world of employment. We are currently developing a whole range of industry focused degrees and diplomas to ensure that your employability is maximised.

We offer you degrees in the specific areas which are predicted for growth in the south-west economy such as public services and the heritage industries as well as a range of professional updating qualifications such as Counselling.

Our courses are new and constantly updated and the people who teach them keep on top of the latest developments. Many of our lecturers have first hand industry experience or are currently researching in their fields. They are approachable and available to you. Every Foundation Degree has a credit-bearing professional practice module to ensure that you have up-to-date experience in the most prestigious organisations once you are ready to enter employment.
