Playing sports is a great way to develop and maintain a healthy body and mind and being part of a team and taking part in competitions can be hugely satisfying and rewarding.
We have extensive indoor and outdoor sporting facilities with experienced sports instructors and teaching staff on hand to coach students of all abilities in personal fitness and team sports.

For £30 a year students can join our state-of-the-art fitness suite which is open to students Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm. Instructors are available to help with workouts.
Dance and Exercise Studio
Our fully sprung dance and exercise studio which opened in 2011 provides excellent facilities for dance and martial arts, yoga, zumba and fitness classes.
Enjoy access to our 3G floodlit All Weather Pitch, cricket nets, four new tennis courts and large playing fields.
Working in partnership with a wide range of national governing bodies, we support a number of sports with professional coaches and coaching programmes.
Strode is affiliated to the British Colleges Sports Association and students will have the opportunity to play competitive fixtures at local, regional and national level.
Opportunities to gain 'Leader' and 'Coaching' Awards are also available in certain sports.
