EMA and Student Attendance

The EMA Scheme is now closed for new applications with effect from the 31 December 2010. 

For those students who are eligible to continue to receive EMA during the 2011/12 academic year we will authorise your EMA payment providing you:

  • attend all classes
  • are on time for your classes
  • behave in a positive and appropriate way in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct

If you have a good reason for an unavoidable absence, which is authorised in advance, we will also pay you, provided your absence does not exceed 3 days in any week (or less if you do not attend College 5 days a week).
