Strode is one of the top institutions in the country for improving students' performance after their GCSEs, being placed in the top seven per cent of 1200 schools and colleges nationally in 2011 (ALPS data).

Advanced Level Performance Systems (ALPS) measure how well students achieve at A Level compared to what they were expected to achieved following their GCSE performance - this is often referred to as the value-added performance. This system compares performance in over 1,200 schools and colleges nationally.
