I like the subjects in the science field as it helps to develop my logical thinking and I can see lots of experiments and reactions in lessons. For English Language and Psychology I like to learn English in a different way analysing texts instead of the grammar stuff I did in my home country.

Strode College is located in a small and quiet town, which provides a good atmosphere of studying. The tutors are very kind and warm-hearted helping me with my subjects and language problems. There are many computers in each building which provides an easier and better access to work.

Comments

As an international student at Strode I get lots of help and support in the lesson or even after college. I get extra study skill lessons which helped me to improve my essay writing skills and reading skills in different subjects. Strode also provides an English Adult Literacy class in the evening to learn English grammar and more vocabulary in a small group.

For my own studying, there was a Media Day at Strode which gave me lots of knowledge and information about Journalism which is what I want to do as my career.

This is my second year at Strode. I felt quite lonely and bored in the first two months. However, when I got used to the lifestyle in England I met lots of friends from different parts of the world in the College. It has been a fruitful year studying at Strode and in England, as I experienced a new culture as well as continuing my career objectives. I have enjoyed my life at Strode and in a new culture!

The subject I enjoy most is Maths because I love solving problems and analysing equations. I feel happy after I get each answer correct and after solving every question. I know that my skills are improving.
