Teaching Accommodation

International students are taught on the Street campus in modern and well equipped classrooms. There are a number of specialist facilities for photography and video, computer suites, art studios and an all weather sports pitch. There are also excellent facilities for our catering, hair and beauty and engineering students and a language laboratory. The recently refurbished Strode Theatre offers a full range of amateur and professional plays, recitals and dance events together with a modern cinema.

In order to help students develop the essential language and study skills which they need to succeed in their main programme of study, the College provides opportunities to access a range of learning support services. These include English language classes (English for Academic Purposes), regular sessions with a Study Skills Support tutor, access to information learning technology and the possibility of attending an IELTS preparation class. To further support the development of skills, the College has a well stocked learning resource centre with IT facilities, including free internet access, which is open Monday to Friday during term time and College holidays.

Entertainment and Food

The college's Refectory and Brasserie provide a full range of hot and cold meals and special diets can be provided for.

An active sports programme is offered with various sports clubs. Students can swim every day at the public swimming pool on the Street community campus and can have access to the fitness centre for a small charge. See the Sports facilities page for more information.
