Facilities

Strode College has a range of high quality general and specialist learning environments and resources to support students in their studies. Most of the facilities are new or newly refurbished.

Sports - a 3rd generation floodlit sports pitch, multi-use games area, tennis courts, sports hall with climbing wall and state of the art fitness suite.

Dance Studio - a new fully sprung dance and exercise studio was opened in September 2011 providing excellent facilities for a range of dance and martial arts, yoga and various fitness classes (pictured above).

Hair and Beauty Salons - providing students with the opportunity to develop and practice their skills in an industry standard environment with real clients.

IT facilities - in addition to a substantial range of IT classrooms equipped with industry standard software, a new CISCO networking suite was added in the Spring of 2010. This provides appropriate students with the opportunity of developing specialist skills and accreditation with CISCO. See also E-Learning.

Learning Centre - the Learning Centre offers students and staff a comfortable and well-resourced area on two floors which combines modern IT facilities and a traditional library.

Nursery - the OFSTED registered Strode College Day Nursery provides childcare for children aged from 2 years up to school age.

Car Parking - some 521 parking places are available to Strode College.

Strode Theatre - a professional mixed-arts venue on the college campus, with a diverse programme of Live Theatre, Film, Music and Visual Arts provides exciting performance and exhibition opportunities for Strode students.
