On this Foundation Degree you will acquire the knowledge and skills to establish a career in management. In the second year you will specialise in either Public Sector or Business Management.
The public sector encompasses regional and local government, uniformed services, health services and a range of governmental bodies. As this course covers areas such as law, sociology, psychology, finance and media, it is also suitable if you want to specialise in a particular field in the future.
This course has replaced our Foundation Degree in ‘Managing in the Public Sector Services’. It has been redesigned and developed in close collaboration with the regional development project for public service education and development, key employers and Plymouth University.
