We at Strode aim to provide excellent facilities and maintain access for all music students, who are able to freely book rehearsal rooms and studios outside of lesson time using our on-line booking system:
- We have two studios featuring control rooms and vocal booths
- Two individual practice rooms
- One electronic band rehearsal room
- Two live rooms
- Two MAC teaching rooms
The popular music course at Strode interfaces well with the Music Technology course and the Media course who help to shape and produce recorded products and help market the acts through video and podcasts.
Students are encouraged to develop acts and recorded work which is shaped for an audience. They are taught how to put this into the market place and plan a portfolio career. Session player skills, building an ensemble, music production techniques, theory and aural skills are just a few of the units that we cover in order to reach our goals.
Our students do well, whether they seek academic or vocational music degrees following this course or if they continue as self employed musicians...
