All training is carried out in a fully commercial salon environment using leading products such as Jane Iredale Mineral Make-up, Dermalogica, Jessica and Opi.

There are opportunities to develop new skills and gain additional qualifications such as Jane Iredale Mineral Basics, Dermalogica Level 2, Jessica and Opi Nails and Ear Piercing. Additional training gives students a real advantage in the workplace and broader product knowledge.

Additional activities and trips include Paris Lancome, London International Make-up Artists Trade Show, Professional Beauty Trade Show, Clothes Show.

This qualification will allow you to progress on to Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy will enable you to gain advanced skills and techniques, specific knowledge and understanding to use within the beauty industry.

You will work in a fully commercial salon environment using the latest equipment including 'Crystal Clear' Microdermabrasion, one of the world's leading providers of hi-tech Beauty technology and skin care.

There are opportunities to develop new skills and gain additional qualifications such as Lash Perfect individual lash extensions, Self tanning training, Jane Iredale Advanced Techniques, Dermalogica Level 3.

Additional activities and trips include Paris Lancome, London International Make-up Artists Trade Show, Professional Beauty Trade Show, Clothes Show; a visit to a Spa. Guest speakers from the industry will give tips on interview techniques and an insight into career opportunities.

With this qualification you could progress into working in management, cruise liners, health spas, salons, airlines, or self employment.
