What will you do on this course?

This one year course is aimed at newly qualified junior stylists. You will build on your existing hairdressing skills and develop advanced skills in perming, cutting, colour correction work and creative hairdressing design skills. You will also have the opportunity to study bridal hair techniques.

 

Course assessment

Each unit is assessed through graded observations of practical assessments and assignments, and in order to achieve the design skills unit, participation in the annual hairdressing competition is mandatory.

City & Guilds Exam Board.

 

Special features

Students will study in a commercial salon environment and have the opportunity to visit national trade exhibitions.
