What will you do on this course?
You will cover the relevant theory and practical treatments used in the Beauty industry. You would find this course suitable if you have already qualified as a Beauty Therapist at level 2. This course is run over one academic year, 3.5 to 4 days per week in college plus one full week of work experience.
The units you will cover are:
- Financial Effectiveness of Business;
- Facial & Body Electrical Treatments;
- Electrical Epilation (permanent hair removal);
- Massage using Pre Blended Aromatherapy Oils;
- Body Massage;
- Monitor Safe Work Operations;
- Plan and Implement Promotional Activities.
Course assessment
A variety of assessment methods are used including observations, written tests, assignments, oral questions and completion of a log book.
On successful completion of the course students will achieve a City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Beauty Therapy.
You will also have the opportunity to achieve Fake Bake Lotion and Spray Certificates, Lash Perfect Individual Lash Certificate, Dermalogica Level 3 Certificate and Jane Iredale Advanced Techniques Certificate.

- Costs for optional educational trips and visits £250 (approx).
- Optional additional training costs up to £70.
- Travel costs to work experience. Essential Epilation equipment £70.
