A group of Strode students recently enjoyed a visit to Cardiff University - a popular choice for many Strode students.  It was a great opportunity to find out about university courses and student life and to think about the exciting choices they will soon be making about life after Strode College.

Accompanied by Strode’s specialist careers and advice staff, the students attended presentations about a range of subject areas including Law, Business Management, Sports and Biomechanics. They looked around the university facilities, including the student’s union and the halls of residence; and they found out about student life from the students association.  They were impressed by the new initiatives being trialled at the university following student feedback, including the introduction of a night bus service and increasing feedback to students from course tutors.

It was a busy day with events across the whole university, but the group also found time to look around this fantastic city to see what else it offers - Cardiff Museum, the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and the main shopping centre.

Everybody was really impressed and inspired by the university and the city and many are considering applying to Cardiff for the next stage of their studies and life. Exciting times ahead!

Our students say it best...
