Choosing the right course
Our Higher Education courses, higher level adult courses and Higher Apprenticeships are career-focused. They are designed to aid your professional development and, if you choose, your progression to further study. Some higher level courses require more academic study than others.
On the course pages you can find out about what and how you will study, how the course is assessed, employer support and opportunities for further progression. If you would like to discuss the course in more detail, please let us know and we will put you in touch with the Course Manager.
We offer a 30 minute confidential careers interview and guidance session for adults considering a return to education. We have a wide range of materials in our Learning Centre to help you with careers research and our staff will be happy to help. To book your careers interview call 01458 844409.

Every year we have an Open Evening in June for anyone who wants to find out about our courses and college. This is a great opportunity to have a look around and talk to staff about any questions you may have. We also have Open Evenings in October, November and January. Visit our Events page to find out more.
Fees and finances
If you are considering gaining a higher level qualification the cost of studying may be a worry. See our Finances section for information about fees and financial support that may be available to help you fund the course.
The costs of our Degree, Foundation Degrees, HNDs and HNCs are significanlty lower than at university.
