Strode News

Students and staff joined in the fun for Children in Need and raised over £700. Beauty students put on fancy dress for a sponsored walk up Glastonbury Tor and used their waxing skills on male students. Health and Social Care students made a huge paper mache cow to collect money in and there was an open mic event in the College refectory along with face painting and a jaffa cake eating competition. Many other fundraising activities took place around college including cake sales, tombolas and raffles. Children from the Strode College Day Nursery joined in too, dressing up, selling cakes and visiting the college to collect money in their buckets.
