- 18/05/11 - Up on the Roof
Strode College is taking its popular one day digital photography course on tour to Wells Cathedral on Saturday 18 June. Students will be able to take their photography to a new level - the top of the Cathedral.
The one day course includes a morning visit to Wells Cathedral where students will be given an official tour and guidance on taking photographs on location. They will then return to Strode for a lesson on enhancing their digital photographs.
Professional photographer John Ryan will be teaching the course. His clients include the Daily Mail, the Alberta Tourist Board and local newspapers, and he teaches photography and Photoshop for the Institute of Professional Photographers and Strode College.
The course costs £26 which includes a donation to Wells Cathedral for the tour. Students will need to bring their own digital camera and a memory stick for storing the images they work on at the computer, and they will need to make their own way to Wells Cathedral and Strode College.
To book a place on the course, which runs from 9.30am - 3.30pm on Saturday 18 June, call Strode College on 01458 844400.
John Ryan will also be teaching a three day digital photography course at Strode as pat of the College's new Summer School. The course will run from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 July 2011. Find out more here or call 01458 442846.
