02/02/11 - Revision Buster for Strode Business Students
Strode News

A level Business Students at Strode College attended a revision workshop to kick start their revision programme in preparation for their recent exams. The workshop was lead by Time2Resources, a company which runs revision courses for students across the country.

The students considered how to write an A grade answer and also how to tackle their revision to help them get a top A or B grade.

Julie Whatford, Subject Leader for Business Studies at Strode College said: "The students enjoyed an interesting day and learnt many hints and tips to support the preparation for their January exam. Business Studies is a very practical subject and is a very popular choice for A level at Strode. Many students go onto to study the subject further at university or use the skills and knowledge they have learnt in the workplace".

The workshop was facilitated by Helen Coupland-Smith, founder of Time2Resources, and her Co-Director Carlo Mencattelli. Helen was Head of Business and ICT at a large secondary comprehensive in the North of England for 10 years, and is an experienced classroom teacher, conference speaker, trainer, author and Senior Examiner for one of the major examination boards.
