- 23/11/10 - Face Painting and Fundraising for Children in Need
Strode College students and staff raised over £850 for Children in Need last Friday, showing just what can be done with a little effort and imagination.
Students paid to revisit some childhood activities including face painting, dressing up, cake decorating and party games like `Pin the tail on the donkey`. Some were paid to make music, whilst others were paid to be silent. And, there were more traditional fundraising activities including a cake sale, a raffle, and bucket shaking in the high street whilst wearing pyjamas.
