Interviews

Once you have applied you will be advised of the date and time of any personal interview. However, some interviews are telephone interviews and if you are unavailable, a message will be left for you to call back.

At the end of your interview the tutor will advise you of any offer of a place on the course. Please note, an offer of a place does not mean you are enrolled on the course and therefore the place is not guaranteed. In order to complete enrolment payment must be made and in some instances other forms completed and signed.

Why do we need your mobile?

Sometimes it is necessary to update you with a very last minute change, e.g. a room change or advise about tutor sickness. If you have supplied your mobile number we will send you a text message with this update. Texts from Strode College can be indentified as they will appear from 07950080227. There is no need to reply, in fact these texts are one way only - replies cannot be taken. Supplying your mobile number and having it switched on on the day of your class is really important.

Paying for your course

Please see the Paying for Your Course page for information.

Refunds

Refunds are only available to students enrolled on part time courses where the College has had to close a course. In exceptional circumstances a credit note may be given against the cost of future courses, through application in writing to the Director of Finance. No refunds are given for awarding body registrations and/or examination fees.

Distance Selling Regulations

If you enrol on a course by telephone and pay
in full by credit/debit card, you have a seven
working day cooling off period from the date of
the transaction.
You must write or email our Admissions team
(ptadmissions@strode-college.ac.uk) to cancel
within seven working days otherwise there will
be no refund.
If the course starts more than 30 days before
payment you will need to agree to waive the 30
day Perform Rule. If the course starts less then
seven working days before payment, the cooling
off period does not apply.
